Greg has directed many student productions at universities and high schools.

With undergraduate acting students at The Wits School of Arts he has directed A Clockwork Orange, The Crucible, Translations, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Saturday Night at the Palace, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Previously Owned (which he also wrote), In The Blood, and Prejudice & Pride (which he workshopped with the student cast). He directed students in Forbidden Broadway at the University of Johannesburg.

Between 1997 and 2006 he directed eleven productions at high-school level with learners (age 12 to 18) at Parktown Boys’ High School, Fourways High School, and Bryanston High School. These productions included Little Shop of Horrors, Romeo & Juliet, Grease, HMS Pinafore, Footloose, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead and Camelot.
