Sauer Street
A new South African musical set on the streets of Johannesburg. The score marries the grit and harshness of Johannesburg with the classical sounds of contemporary musicals. A young man returns to Johannesburg to take his mother away from the cosmopolitan and eclectic streets where he falls in love with the girl of his dreams. Their lives become entwined in a complex web of crime, hope, deceit, love and betrayal.
